Dresher PT is pleased to once again offer your student-athlete ImPACT baseline concussion testing. Baseline tests are highly recommend for all athletes ages 10-18 and take less than 30 minutes to complete. It matters not whether you’ve had a concussion in the past. ImPACT tests are recommended at least every 2 years, are 100% computer-based, and involve a series of memory and reaction-time tests.
The data from the baseline test is immensely helpful in caring for an athlete who might happen to suffer a concussion in the future. Your physician and physical therapist use this data to help make safe and effective decisions regarding return to school and sports.
