Should I bring my medical records to my appointment?

A: Yes. If you have had any X-rays, MRIs or other diagnostic tests performed, a copy of the findings would be helpful so that your therapist can review these. Can I change into my exercise clothes when I get to your clinic?

Yes. We have two locker rooms where you can change and lock up your belongings and valuables if you desire.

Is your facility easily accessible for those with walkers, crutches, and wheelchairs?

Yes! Our state-of-the-art facilities are equipped with a covered ramp leading into the main entrance as well as easy-to-use automatic doors.

Am I able to complete the initial paperwork online prior to my appointment?

Yes! Almost all of the initial paperwork can be downloaded from our website. Just print them from home, fill them out, and bring them to your initial evaluation. See the “PATIENT FORMS” section under the YOUR VISIT tab of our website.

Do you have a female physical therapist?

Yes, Dresher PT has 4 male and 3 female therapists—and we have female Physical Therapists at both of our locations. All of our therapists are licensed, professional, and very experienced.

Will I be supervised when I do my exercises?

Absolutely!! Dresher Physical Therapy prides itself in the level of care we provide to our patients. While we attempt to teach our patients to eventually be able to perform exercises independently on a home program basis, we closely supervise our patient’s technique and form during their therapeutic exercises while in the clinic.

How much does each Physical Therapy visit cost?

This depends on your insurance plan. Most insurance plans require either a copay or coinsurance due by the patient for each visit. Other insurance plans also have an annual deductible which may be due. We can help supply you with this information when we verify your insurance on your 1st visit to our clinic. In

Do I need a referral from my doctor?

In most cases, patients have been seen by a physician and are given a prescription for PT prior to being evaluated at our clinic. There are instances, however, where we can evaluate and treat a patient without a prescription. Please see the Tab titled “Direct Access” for more information.

Do you offer programs for me once I’m better?

Yes, once you have completed your therapy sessions, your therapist will review your continuing home program.  We can make arrangements to meet you at your gym to work with you on determining what equipment may be beneficial, and what exercises would be helpful in your continued recovery.
